Filling in for the manager on maternity leave this role had a focus on funding, programme and staff management and community relations. Dance Therapy NZ is an awesome organisation that works with qualified therapists through the medium of dance and the arts to work with children and adults with special needs or physical disabilities.

My role is to manage all aspects of staff and delivery for our Home Based Early Childhood company. This challenging role works alongside the Ministry of Education to ensure all aspects of the service we provide meets Ministry standards. The role covers staff management, training, curriculum development, networking and more.

This role was initially as a facilitator and then went on in later years to be National Manager in charge of the day to day delivery and roll out of an applied theatre programme focused around family violence and child abuse prevention. Working on "Everyday Theatre" was one of the most rewarding roles I have ever had and my job was challenging, inspiring.

This role involving the management of three of Waitakere City's Community Centres. A busy and varied role that involved strong customer focus, financial control, marketing and dealing with contractors on site.
