Fablebox is a platform that enables live video creators to enhance their streaming content by generating personalized AI-powered 3D avatars to engage with. I co-founded the company and worked on the concept after seeing AI-generated content in a Twitch stream, and we then developed a service for streamers to easily create and customize fictional characters within their streams. My responsibilities included leading development of the POC for investor pitches, establishing our AWS cloud infrastructure, architecting APIs, and defining business logic. Some of our development work included a website using Nuxt to host WebGL assets for 3D avatars, a system to map ElevenLabs audio speech files to VRChat avatars using websockets, and a Unity lipsync library.

Super League Gaming acquired my startup Mobcrush (see below).

Mobcrush was a livestreaming platform for mobile gamers that provided content monetization tools for creators through brand activations. In 2021, Mobcrush was acquired by Super League Gaming, a company that creates immersive gaming experiences for brands. At SLG I managed a 20-member engineering team supporting 6 product lines, with a focus on driving their push into live video streaming tools and Machine Learning to increase their addressable server audience and sales pipelines.My co-founders at Mobcrush partnered to execute on an innovative iOS SDK prototype for mobile gamers that enabled items on a device screen to be livestreamed to services (e.g. Twitch). We demoed our prototype at tech conferences in Europe to obtain our seed round, and later we pitched VCs to close Series A&B with some top investors (Kleiner Perkins, Evolution Media Capital, First Round Capital, Crosscut Ventures, Raine Ventures, Lowercase Capital).I built and led a 10-member engineering team that built our live video streaming cloud platform deployed on AWS for at-scale video ingestion and viewing. The platform was designed to leverage custom in-house code and FFmpeg to ingest and transcode an RTMP stream to multiple HLS bitrates for adaptive bitrate distribution via CDN. Other engineering successes included: - a live streaming toolset for creators to syndicate live streams to multiple social platforms simultaneously. - a unified chat system to aggregate chat messages from live video streaming destinations through integrations with Twitch, Facebook, YouTube, and Trovo. - a monitoring and alerting stack using Prometheus, Cloudwatch, and PagerDuty.- an automated content selection policy for Mobcrush’s OTT channel.

MiniTime is a travel planning website for families that recommended kid-friendly hotels and points of interest. I worked on backend architecture (Java, Spring, Struts, Hibernate) and API integrations.

I joined MySpace Music during a hiring spree in the Beverly Hills office after their acquisition by News Corp. My contributions included development and maintenance of the server-side application layer for MySpace Music's online karaoke service, and creation of a content moderation tool with escalation policies for the support team.
