Mr. Daughters has over 30 years of forensic accounting and expert testimony experience. He specializes in leading forensic accounting engagements and providing expert testimony for litigation matters. His primary areas of concentration are complex commercial damages, licensing/royalty disputes, lost earnings, business interruption claims and fraud investigations. Mr. Daughters has testified as anexpert witness in state and federal court matters. With 30 years of experience assisting counsel, Mr. Daughters has worked with many of the top global law firms and the boards of Fortune 500 companies. His industry experience includes financial services, health care, high-tech, real estate, energy, and others. Mr. Daughters has extensive Big Four experience, including being a Senior Manager with Ernst & Young.Prior to joining BPM, Mr. Daughters founded his own firm in 2016. Mr. Daughters has assisted multiple firms in developing their Bay Area litigation and forensic accounting practices. He was instrumental in winning several large engagements and contributing significantly to the early rapid growth of each firm. Notable assignments include assisting boards with corporate investigations related to the retroactive pricing of stock options, earnings management, revenue recognition and tax issues.
