Support the Head of International Real Estate in general management of Carlyle's real estate platforms in Europe and Asia which comprised approximately $4bn of AUM. Responsibilities included underwriting prospective platform acquisitions, new product development, asset management of existing assets and oversight of the business including budgeting and human resources.

U.S. Portfolio Manager for Morgan Stanley Alternative Investment Partners’ real estate business (“AIP”). Oversaw a $450 million portfolio of real estate co-investments and fund positions in the U.S. and Brazil, and was the lead underwriter responsible for approximately $400 million of new investment activity. Voting member of AIP’s real estate investment committee, and served as an Advisory Board member for several funds managed by leading institutional real estate firms, including Carlyle, Walton Street Capital, Rubenstein Partners, GTIS Partners, Stoltz Real Estate, and Madison International.

Associate in Morgan Stanley’s real estate investment banking and merchant banking divisions. Involved with ~$4bn in public company transactions (M&A and capital raising) for clients including ProLogis, Hudson Pacific Properties, Piedmont Office Trust, UDR, and HRPT. Advised a large public pension in the restructuring of its real estate portfolio including $6 billion of AUM.
