Stephen is a Senior Structural Engineer at Apex Structural Engineering. He received his B.S. degree in civil engineering from the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY. He received a full scholarship to attend the University of Kentucky where he maintained a 4.0 GPA. He accepted a University Assistantship to attend graduate school at the University of Kentucky under mentoring and advisement of Prof. Brad Davis, Ph.D., S.E. He received his M.S. degree in civil engineering with a structural engineering focus where he continued to maintain a 4.0 GPA. Stephen is professionally registered in multiple states. His numerous honors and awards include the University of Kentucky Presidential Scholarship, University of Kentucky Civil Engineering Most Outstanding Student Award, Builder’s Exchange John D. Kelly Award and being named a Commonwealth Ambassador for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Additional honors include the Frank Warren, Nicholas C. Boogher, William N. and Ocie M. Downey, ASCE and AISC scholarships.
