I am a Creative Writing (Poetry) PhD candidate at Queen’s University Belfast. My project, funded by the UK Arts & Humanities Research Council and Northern Bridge Consortium, focuses on Irish poetry and our imaginative relationships with the oceans.Whilst completing my Creative Writing (Poetry) MFA at the University of Florida, I worked as a Teaching Assistant in creative writing as well as technical, professional, and academic writing courses. I received the university's English Department Teaching Award in 2019. I also worked with the award-winning Subtropics Literary Journal as an Editorial Assistant and as an Associate Editor.
