    My role at HeliAdventure ranges from flight instruction to charter and aerial work utilising Robinson R44, R44 ENG and Bell 206 helicopters. Operating from a satellite site, I manage all aspects of my commercial work, leading to a strong working knowledge of JAR-OPS, JAR-FCL and the UK ANO. This knowledge acts as a foundation in my role as Quality and Safety Manager. I undertake a variety of missions including:•A to A sightseeing tours - Working with the operations team, I plan and execute all aspects of the mission including route selection, greeting clients, safety briefing, pilot in command and debrief •Weddings - Working with the operations team, I plan and execute all aspects of the mission including landing site evaluation and selection, flight planning, meeting clients, safety briefing and pilot in command.•Pleasure Flights - Working with the ground team, I execute an agreed route for a pre-determined length of time ranging from five minutes to one hour. •Aerial Photography and Filming - Working with the operations team and the third party filming / photography company, I plan and execute all aspects of the mission. Due to the nature of filming work missions are extremely varied ranging from basic News reporting sorties to low level multi-helicopter pursuits. Filming normally undertaken in a dedicated R44 ENG

    My role with Cotswold Helicopters has evolved as my experience and skill level has increased and the company’s commercial requirements have changed. Initially the majority of my work involved flight instruction to PPL(H) level on the Robinson R22 and R44 helicopters, with Type Ratings on the R44. I then started to carry out more commercial work for the company utilising Robinson R44, Bell 206 and Agusta A109 helicopters. Missions ranged from sightseeing tours to commercial charter work (usually to VVIP standard). All flights carried out VFR, with the Agusta flights being carried out multi-engine single pilot VFR. Instruction was carried out on the Cabri G2 and Robinson R44 helicopters and, as the most experienced instructor, I also lecture in PPL and CPL ground school (mainly on Navigation and Principles of Flight). As Cotswold Helicopters was the initial UK Distributor for the Cabri G2 helicopter I became involved in a variety of press launch and demonstration events.
