I am co-founder and Group Managing Director of a group of Construction related businesses. This includes a general construction and specialist contractors and a design consultancy. I am responsible for the successful day to day running of all aspects of the businesses. Ensuring delivery of high quality projects within programme, cost and quality parameters. My duties include the development of business strategy and carrying it through to increase turnover and profit whilst maintaining client relations and improving all aspects of staff performance. Working on a number of projects with my co-directors and staff, negotiating legal contracts with suppliers and clients and resolving any commercial issue. Annual budget forecasting and monthly cost-revenue meetings to ensure maximum financial performance. I was responsible for all project management controls ensuring a safe and effective environment on site. Chairing monthly meeting with Directors and Project Managers.

Sittingbourne Kent

I was employed by Knauf UK a large privately owned German building materials manufacturer, specifically plasterboard and gypsum products. My role was to aid the build-up of the UK division of the Company and to manage both the technical performance and the sales of the product through specification. During my time at Knauf the business grew to become the second largest supplier of gypsum products in the UK. A critical challenge was the establishment of a client base which could sustain the companies aspirations for growth in the first few years. I was a main board member of the UK business and was party to developing and implementing both product and business strategies. As a senior member of the company I was involved in international business opportunities and regularly flew to Europe, America and Asia.I sat on a number of British Standard committees and was Chairman of the Gypsum Product Development Association.My responsibilities extended to managing a number of key departments including Research and Development, Technical Sales, Marketing and oversea business development.Latterly I was responsible for all legal and commercial aspects of the business including compliance and any third-party claims.
