I am now working as a Historic Preservation Associate at Mills Group. I have carried over the skills and lessons I learned from my time with MCWB architects and am putting them to use in my new role. Learning has always been one of my strongest suits as I was highly awarded for innovation in sustainable design concepts in my design studios for my Master's degree in Oxford University and Oxford Brookes University. My Bachelor's degree in Architecture from the University of Kentucky also was accompanied by many awards in sustainability, theory, and history. I approach design from an engineering background of problem-solving and trouble-shooting which I developed during my six years working for the Department of Defense for the United States Navy. As a Petty Officer Second Class, I lead multiple work centers in the execution and scheduling of electronic maintenance in a high-stress, time-critical environment. I am a resilient, highly adaptive, quick learning go-getter who knows how to perform under pressure. I excel in teamwork, critical thinking, and time management even in a crisis.
