Straight from school I started at Britains Heritage in Leicester, learning to restore antiques, skills learned included Welding, Woodwork, Metalworking and Shot Blasting and most interestingly Stone and Marble Carving and Repair/Restoration. I then set up my own Company, DCS initially for Contract Cleaning which then spread into Property Maintenance and Management, running and caring for some large student accommodation blocks in Leicester. I employed 9 staff and took on the contract for a college on London Road in Leicester and other contracts in Northamptonshire.I then began my employment at C3 Construction, initially taking care of Customer Care issues, then moving on to Groundworks for the Housing side of the Company but the majority of my time was then focused on Roads and Sewers, eventually running my own gangs and sites. I still work for C3 Construction but am currently working my way to be a Registered NPORS Assessor/Trainer working along with the Training Department at C3 Construction.
