I provide consulting services to help develop and optimise oil and gas fields in the North Sea.

In this role, I provide advising and consulting services to Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) to help develop and optimise oil fields (clastics and carbonates) as part of an extended technical service agreement between Shell and KOC. I coach young engineers and develop competency training for staff. I develop new Shell technologies for KOC and serve as CTR lead for reservoir characterisation. I develop and analyse databases using Techlog and Geolog. I have technical authority TA1 for petrophysics and geomechanics.

This is a Joint Venture with the Syrian Petroleum Company as Al Furat Petroleum Company (AFPC)In this role, I managed a team of 12 petrophysicists across the EPM region (Egypt, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria) as well as 8 petrophysicists in Syria - providing support to drilling operations, well interventions, and integrated studies. I ran the technical work program, budget, and the electric wireline contract with Schlumberger. I had Technical Authority TA1 for petrophysics and geomechanics in EPM.

I recruited, onboarded, and trained +200 staff over two years during the company’s start-up. I set up and managed the petrophysics, geomechanics, and QI skill pools and spearheaded staff development, capability building, coaching, and technical authority. I directly led a team of 20.

I managed the petrophysics, geomechanics, and QI skill pools, staff development, capability building, coaching, and technical authority with direct supervision of a team of 20.In my role as Petrophysical Line Discipline Advisor, I coached the staff, mentored teams, and conducted peer reviews, and I advised the line (ONP/OSP) and negotiated EWS and DD contracts.As the New Oil Team Lead for Qarn Alam, I led and developed a multi-discipline staff of 12 on a new oil team in north Oman. I supervised team members in preparation for drilling of new oil wells – using 6 rigs and involving well picks, site preparation, well proposals, operations, and final well reporting. I also served on the VAR2 review team for the Yibal field – conducting staffing interviews for petrophysical jobs in the PDO. I established the overall strategy for a new formulation evaluation contract.As Senior Functional Petrophysical Engineer, I conducted well-site and contractor base technical and safety audits and served as CFH for petrophysics in the absence of the CFDH. I created and updated a manpower model for the director, participated in multi-discipline safety visits with contractors, scheduled and ran training sessions, and maintained and tested the IT portfolio (Logic, LogDB, Pluto). I spearheaded multiple data management projects. I defined the strategy, set-up, evaluation, and awarding of the Wireline, MWD, and Coring contracts and consulted on global Wireline contracts. I also served as representative on the Board of Governors for the British School of Muscat and participated on V2V panels for Yibal, Al Huwaisah, and Marmul Haima West.
