Currently, I am happily employed by Douglas County Libraries as their Facility Supervisor. Being an integral piece of an organization that provides such a meaningful service to our wonderful community has provided me with a new sense of purpose. While my professional career has lead me down the facilities management path, my education is in business management. I received my bachelors degree from Colorado State University - Global Campus in 2016. I have been able to successfully integrate my education into my career seamlessly, making me the most efficient leader I can be. I continue to apply my education toward training development and implementation. I have a high level of satisfaction in helping develop employees and managers alike, increasing their potential for success within an organization. This also provides the opportunity for increasing business productivity by having workers that are knowledgeable and passionate about their job functions.My professional and educational decisions are based around my ability to provide a better life for my family. In an economy that is becoming significantly more competitive, building a solid educational and professional foundation, the probability of reaching my goals increases exponentially. It is my goal to secure a strong, stable financial future so I can provide myself and my family with the life they deserve. I intend to provide a strong educational opportunity for my son as well, helping him obtain the education that he desires while not having to work more than going to school. Utilizing LinkedIn will also provide a great means to network and get my name out there. This way, I will be able to capitalize on many of the opportunities that are currently available.
