Part of Anglian Waters £44m special projects Hall WTW scheme for the construction of a new 300,000m3 reservoir, intake pump station and water treatment works.Some of my on site duties include; safety briefings, meetings and inductions, managing sub-contractors, risk assessment / method statement writing and review, HSE managing and monitoring, permit control, liaising with land agents and owners, plant and material procurement and quality testing and inspections.During my time on the scheme I have also been responsible for various health and safety ideas and initiatives.

Graduate Site Engineer - Senior Site EngineerStarting out as a graduate site engineer I was involved on various projects as part of Anglian Waters AMP 4 programme. Some of the schemes included; vacuum sewers, flood alleviation, pumping mains, gravity pipe laying, open-cut, auger boring, shaft sinking, tunnelling, timber headings and the construction of various pump stations and associated items.Some of my duties included various setting out, site surveys, sub-contract management, traffic management, procurement, take offs, RAMS and health and safety monitoring and briefings.Throughout my time with Barhale I was also responsible for the tutoring and mentoring of various graduate site engineers.

Assistant Engineer - Setting-out EngineerStarting out as an assistant engineer on the SEAL project at Bacton gas terminal I was involved with the setting-out of various RC structures along with on site ducting/pipe and site access roads.Following the SEAL project I was the sole setting-out engineer on the Brigantine contract at Bacton along with various other projects including: steel frame buildings, car park and associated drainage and waste water treatment tanks.By the end of my time with Carters I was fully conversant in the use of various setting-out methods and equipment.
