Other responsibilities include undertaking defect diagnosis and building surveys to properties for large housing associations and private customers based in the North East and North West. Energy Efficiency Champion 2019 and Highly commended in The Trainee of the Year at the Construction Excellence G4C 2018.

Place of work since September 2013. I am a fully qualified Domestic and Non-Domestic Energy Assessor as well as achieving NVQ level 2 in Business Administration and an NVQ level 3 in Customer Service. I have been highly involved in Elvet Construction Consultants Sustainability Services, which has involved providing Energy Performance Certificates and Green Deal Assessments for many large North East housing associations, including completing over 800 Energy Performance Assessments throughout local areas in addition to around 100 Commercial Energy Assessments ranging from complexities level 3 and 4. In addition to this I worked throughout the UK on Energy Company Obligation (ECO) schemes going as far a field as Dundee and Manchester. I have also been involved in invasive surveys such as inspecting cavity walls to determine insulation levels and helping to recommend installation where necessary. I assisted in providing Stock Condition Surveys to around 400 homes, which included identifying defects and needed remedial work to assist a client in accurately updating their housing database. I am currently working towards my level 6 Diploma in Residential Surveying and Valuation.
