• Complete financial responsibility for a large UK retail portfolio with an annual turnover of circa £4 million with an operating margin of 10%.

Scotland

• Worked alongside branch manager with Implementation of a major change program within the business. The Scotland branch was also hand-picked by higher management to trial (and succeeded) with the introduction of.
• Overall management of the Securitas workforce 96 individuals across a major retail security account, including rostering and personnel administration.
• Responsibility for managing key client relationships, representing Securitas in various senior management forums.
• Recruitment & selection including screening and interviewing of potential candidates.
• Performance management including investigations, disciplinary actions and management of high potential individuals.
• P&L accountabilities in terms of understanding branch spending i.e. monitoring non chargeable activities, efficiently deploying officers, and forward planning holiday.

Scotland

• Responsible for overall management and client interface on a prestigious retail account with an area sales portfolio value of c. £3.3m.
• Operational administration including rostering, performance management etc.
• Conducted monthly performance reviews with client with a proven history of not falling below agreed SLA.
• Responsibly for line management of 56 officers, appraisals/annual health questionnaires/ general welfare.

Edinburgh

• Supervisory responsibility for four members of staff executing loss prevention activities across a major UK retail account.
• Personnel administration including management of sickness, annual leave etc.
• Delivered induction and retail security training to new recruits.
• Retail security guard for a major UK retailer.
• Executing loss prevention activities for a major UK retailer, whist ensuring the safety & wellbeing of customers visiting the premises.

• Deployed on three Operational Tours of Afghanistan.
