My last two years project work has mainly consisted of EfW and clean energy projects as the Client's Site Acceptance Engineer / ICA Engineer. I have also worked with Contractors as the Site E&I Manager. The most recent completed project was undertaken in the role of Commissioning & Acceptance Engineer for a new pump station in Gibraltar, working with Spanish contractors, leading the site commissioning.I also led the AMEC FW ICA team for design and project quality, with twenty seven years experience in the Water Industry in roles such as Project Manager, Commissioning Manager, Technical Leader, Team Leader, and Staff Manager. I have good experience of AD plants, incinerators and power generation, wind and solar power generation, waste and clean water plants and process production plants.I have excellent management and technical leadership skills and have never been afraid to take on any task or challenge, I can work alone, in a team or in a leadership role. I work well under pressure and have an excellent track record for successful projects. I have recently been used in a 'trouble shooter' role on difficult projects and have enjoyed this kind on challenges and success.

Melrose

I was responsible for the wide area telemetry system, this role included the day to day management and maintenance of the system, the planned expansion of the installed outstations, the management of the yearly budget and the day to day management of two ICA engineers.

World Wide

I worked on a wide range of communication and detection systems including HF , UHF and VHF communications systems. I have experience of RADAR, SONAR, passive detection and direction finding equipment. The last six years of my naval career was covered by the Official Secrets Act.
