Before I attended Utica College my sister and I were raised in Latham, NY, ten minutes north of Albany by our parents, Carol and Ned. In high school I was a three sport athlete, and also worked various part time jobs. Over the course of four years at Utica College I played on the lacrosse team, re-founded Alpha Chi Rho of Omicron Phi where I held the Risk Management position my junior year, and worked in the athletic training room since i qualified for a work-study position. My junior year at Utica College I became very passionate about achieving a healthier lifestyle. After the spring semester of 2014 I began an internship at the SPI Fitness located in Utica, NY. At the end of August I was offered a part time coaching position at SPI. At first, I mostly ran group fitness classes of groups of anywhere from 5-20 people and trained youth athletes from the area. After graduating in December of 2014 I then became a full-time employee of SPI. In the fall of 2018 I moved home from Utica and began my career with the Capital District YMCA. I started off as a Wellness Coordinator at the Schenectady Branch, but then in January I began a new opportunity at the Bethlehem Branch as the Wellness Director.
