Afghanistan

* Responsible, in-country, for the following operations; 1. SPV Program, delivering Frozen, Chill and Ambient product to US Forces in over 220 locations across Afghanistan from warehouses in Kabul, Bagram and Helmand Regional Distribution Centre 2. NSPA Warehouse in support of Dining Facilities in Kandahar Air Base 3. Warehouse Operation in Kabul in support of a number of NATO Contracts. 4. Set up and management of a Class IX (Technical Stores) operation in Kandahar 5. Managed the set up of Convoy Security on the SPV Program. Liaison with the security provider and drawing up CONOPs.* Eleven Warehouses, Three Logistic Support Centres, Three Class IV Container Yards Total 3,000 x TEU), Transport, Convoy Security (Start up and expansion including oversight of CONOP's) and Aviation (Managed set up of three Aviation Hubs; at its Peak the operation received some 22 x 747's of Fresh Fruit and Vegetables per week across Bastion, Kandahar and Kabul and operated from 4 Aviation Hubs in support of the program 5 x Fixed Wing and 44 x Mi8 Helicopters)* 5 General Managers, 2 Ops Support Managers and 1,200 Warehouse Staff* In-country Retrograde Program* Remediation Program to effect closure and return to Landlords/Owners, Five Warehouse's and a Site Services Location* Transition of SPV Program - Transfer of sites serviced by volume and area in a 9 Phase move - Transfer of remaining stock, value c$63m, to the incoming SPV Contractor in a phased move from warehouses in Kabul and Helmand to their warehouses in Bagram and Kanadahar - Drawdown of staff from 1,200 to 120 in phases aligned to remaining workload.* Promoted from General Manager to Country Manager after six months.
