I have been working in the Aviation industry for over ten years, focusing on IT solutions and services within an Airport. It started by building and designing network solutions and server infrastructures for users, and day to the day of these systems to the building and development of an IT department within the AirportMy role as IT Manager has allowed me to work on various projects over the years, from implementing fibre solutions as a service to tenants at the Airport, Airport Public Wi-Fi, digital transformation, IT cyber and Airport security solutions. The development of software solutions to meet various requirements of Airports and, most importantly, passenger services solutions for processing passengers for their flights (Check-In, Boarding Gate and other systems). These are just a few to mention. Not only has my role within the Aviation industry grown but also within the role of governance, risk and compliance. Combining IT industry standards with that of the Aviation industry and governmental governance. From managing the Airport's IT infrastructure and department to financial budgets and forecasting, human resource management of the department, risk review and mitigation, strategic development and digital transformation of various parts of the Airport. One of the areas of crucial importance within IT today is cyber security which forms a significant part of my role as a Manager.
