Elected in 2015 to serve as an at-Large councilman in my hometown. Currently am Vice Chair of the Finance Committee, Chair of Public Safety and sit on the Parks and Recreation Committee. Was honored to have received the most votes of any at-large council member in Green history.

I was honored by the Confucius Institute to join an American delegation of Education Policy Leaders to China in June 2014 to observe educational environments in Shanghai and Beijing. I reported on many different topics and won several awards. I was nominated with two of my colleagues for the 2003 Pulitzer Prize for a serious of stories we did about the 2002 election where we asked politicians and the public (through polling) questions about the direction of Ohio. Guess who was more in touch with reality? I still miss all my colleagues at 44 E. Exchange.
