Subcontractor - Sun States Security: Site Captain for all unarmed security officers. Responsible for all officer training and writing of "Site Post Orders," since none existed for this 24/7 operation. Reported directly to on-site Director for weekly briefings, as well as to QU Campus Police Chief, QU Security Director, and Sun States Account Manager. Work overtime when needed (on-call) and assist with officer scheduling needs. Responsible for keeping students and faculty safe and secure by way of foot patrols & perimeter checks, visual presence, metrics and logs, safety analysis reports, special events, crowd control, traffic direction and control, parking lot compliance & surveillance, customer service, visitor access control, open & close of gates and doors per prescribed hours of operation, and investigation reports. Fire and Medic Emergency protocols per policy.

Hired via subcontractor to help secure and protect the nuclear reactor and site from theft and radio-logical sabotage. NRC Security Access/Clearance Levels I, II, III. Six-week on-site classroom training and related modules via Kings Mountain, NC training facility. NERC/FERC Certified. Weapons experience. CPR/AED. Adhere to all NRC protocols and continuing required certifications. Report all activity to Shift Security Supervisor via two-way radio with periodic check-ins. Report any and all suspicious activity immediately. Volunteer member of McGuire Safety Advisory Council.

Revise and re-write complete (52 page) "Site Post Orders" to Corporate specifications (in current use), with day-to-day guideline ops, manage and train all unarmed officers for 24/7 operation, report directly to Client for weekly updates, maintain a safe and secure site using CCTV/DVR, foot patrol, customer service, all metrics and logs, security lighting logs, gated entry, work directly with Duke Energy OSHA Safety Rep for best safety practices, assist with investigations, employee and visitor access control and badging for the 450 employee (550 sq.ft.) site and Call Center. Created and implemented a new-hire "Safety and Security Orientation" class. Emergency Fire and Medic protocol training (AED/CPR). Allied Barton Master Security Officer Certification Level 5. Awards: "Officer of the Year Q4" "Dare to be Safe" Award, and Duke Energy's "Spotlight on Safety" Award for 'above and beyond' customer service.
