Stephen M. Eber, PE NYS, Director, Willdan – Genesys Engineering P.C.40 years technical / business experience in the energy field. Early career experience includes nuclear, fossil fuel, cogeneration. Last ten years, the focus has been in practical renewable energy applications including solar PV, energy storage, bio-fuel and renewable gas, and recently wind energy conversion . Currently active in preparation of energy master plans, practical planning for GHG reduction, large scale heat pump system design, renewable and conventional power plant development and design, demand management, energy storage, renewable /sustainable energy, and grid resiliency. Experience includes project development, design / engineering, and implementation in new and retrofit settings. This includes PV and battery storage projects, Renewable Gas including Hydrogen, Boiler / Chiller / Cogeneration / Central Plants, Plant upgrades, Bio-fuels, Demand Management, Efficiency projects, PV plants. One personal goal is to develop and implement projects that utilize conventional fuel resources and integrate such with efficiency upgrades, demand response capability, and a renewable energy supply mix. A second personal goal is to advance acceptance of distributed generation / cogeneration, including renewable energy and energy storage, by implementing technically viable and economically attractive projects and programs, and participate in this emerging industry's growth opportunities.Specialties: Mechanical Engineering, PE in New York.
