In January 2005 the role was expanded to include OH&S management after several Lost Time incidences occurred within a short time frame.• Implemented new methods and strategies; changed the workplace culture and improved workplace safety within the South Australian Operations.• Achieved a significant reduction in Lost Time Injury, Work cover claims and Work cover costs. • Achieved a significant, historic outcome on the 29/10/07 of 707 days without an LTI at the MMAL site and 464 days for all the South Australian Operations.
