I am qualified and experienced Consumer Protection professional and member of the International Compliance Association. I work with the Legal and Compliance team at Asda and manage all aspects of the Consumer Protection programme.My role is to provide our Head Office stakeholders and retail teams with support, advice and guidance in matters of Consumer Protection and Consumer Rights at all levels of the business. The team aims to act proactively to imbed Consumer Protection controls into business processes, systems and innovation projects as early as possible to ensure projects land compliantly, first time.I am the main Consumer Protection contact for regulatory enforcement in relation to Consumer Protection and Trading Standards and I manage Asda's relationship with our Trading Standards Primary Authority. As such I manage, investigate and respond to all Trading Standards regulatory referrals received by Asda.Working closely with an external supplier I manage Asda's Challenge 25 test purchase programme from risk assessment, to scheduling, to day-to-day communications with our stores.Through my experience in both Compliance roles and as a colleague and manager in store I am commercially and operationally minded. I have the knowledge to ensure that advice and guidance is well rounded and operationally valid.I am a member of the British Retail Consortium and International Compliance Association and hold an ICA Level 4 Regulatory Compliance Officer certification.

• Managed Asda's Subject Access Request and CCTV request processes.• Managed, investigated and responded to all privacy and data protection related customer complaints.• Managed, investigated and responded to all referrals from the Information Commissioners Office.• Managed, investigated and responded to all CCTV and privacy requests for information from Police and Regulators.• Supported the review and implementation of GDPR controls, systems and processes.• Conducted Privacy Impact Assessments working with the business to map and mitigate privacy risk.• Completed CIPP/EU certifcation.

Acting as an Ambassador for the Hellmans, Colmans and Knorr brands in Asda, Tesco, Morrison's and Sainsburys across Northwest England and Northern Wales.Focus on creating and nurturing relationships with contacts within store at all levels of the management chain.Responsible for maintaining in-run fixture and gondola end availability and ensuring the correct implementation of pricing and point of sale barkers and overlays.Priority on promoting brands and new lines through the citing of secondary locations using point of sale and free standing display units as well as the acquisition of discretionary space on the shop floor.

Delivered KPIs for the Runcorn Home Shopping department through the management of Drivers and Pickers to ensure that home shopping orders were delivered both accurately and on time across four delivery waves a day.

Ensured Shop Floor standards across the Grocery department through Stock Management and shop floor maintenance on a daily basis. Managed a team of Grocery colleagues to ensure that these standards were met and maintained through ongoing coaching and development.

Delivered KPIs across both the Bakery and Bought in Bread and Cake department through the management of BIBC and Bakery colleagues in order to ensure availability throughout the day.

Stock Management across Ambient departments. Liaise with suppliers and buyers in order to ensure availability across Ambient departments. Control stock through perpetual inventory maintenance in conjunction with back door deliveries and back of house maintenance.

Delivered home shopping orders while acting as an ambassador for the store by providing excellent customer service at all times.

The role involved entering address and and non-address information as prompted into the manual data entry system for mail which could be read automatically. This keyed information then provides the computer with enough confidence to sort the mail to the correct destination for distribution.
