I have been in the flat roofing industry for over 22 years starting off as an operative installing bituminous, single ply, and liquid systems with a Bauder approved contractor in Kent.After nearly a decade as an operative I moved onto Bauder, where I held the position of site technician for a little over 10 years. My role included training operatives to install our systems, advising with technical queries, problem solving, and carrying out interim and final inspections on Bauder projects to ensure the projects were completed to the high standards expected before finally issuing the guarantees. My previous experience has helped me to progress into my current role at Bauder as the Area technical manager for Kent and East Sussex where I specialise in the refurbishment side of the area. The knowledge and skills I have picked up over the years assists me with advising clients with the best solutions and specifying the correct systems for the right scenarios.
