Having built up a career in the IT industry first as a Support Technician for the University of Reading all the way to becoming an Operations Team Lead for Northgate Public Services I have developed a range of skills that make me an effective IT professional. Built upon a basis of strong technical knowledge I have experience successfully utilising products such as Cisco and Watchguard Firewalls. This allows me to apply technical knowledge when developing the success of any projects. Working on various complex projects such as ensuring network compliance with CoCo regulations and executing data centre moves this expertise has been invaluable. Other Infrastructure Projects such as Data Centre moves and VPN capacity increases at short notice.Alongside this sits my ability to manage and effectively operate a team. Successfully managing a team of seven on a day to day basis I have become adept at getting the best out of those around me. This coupled with experience in working closely with clients to best achieve their needs I have the interpersonal skills to sit alongside expert technical knowledge. As a result, you will find me to be a well-rounded individual who can make a valuable contribution to your organisation.
