Having spent my entire career in the Mechanical Building Services industry, I am a qualified and experienced Building Services Engineer and Associate Member of CIBSE. Having worked successfully alongside Darke & Taylor for many years, I made the decision to join the company as the Head of Mechanical Services. My role is to develop the company’s ability to deliver a full Building Services solution to its valued client base, to include the design, installation and maintenance of all forms of Mechanical Services.Darke & Taylor can trace its history back to Oxford’s first Electrical engineering company. Over the last 50 years the company has developed in response to the rapidly changing requirements and technical advances in the Building Services industry whilst maintaining a commitment to direct employment and developing the careers of its valued staff. The Company operates in a number of key strategic construction market sectors including super-prime residential, public sector, universities and commercial office space. Specialists in the design and delivery of exceptional installations, capabilities include mains power and backup systems, bespoke and low energy lighting, fire and security systems, IT and smart-home network cabling, renewable energy technology and managing full MEP packages. Additional services include test, inspection, commissioning and facilities maintenance to help customers safely manage the critical systems and services that keep their premises operating and protected.I am a pro-active, passionate and hard-working professional combining a successful background in the design, installation and maintenance of Mechanical Building Services, with extensive management, team leadership and training experience.
