Severe business challenges … internal and external crises … organizational changes. Throughout my extensive and progressive leadership experience, I was called upon by senior executives to lead the strategies and solutions that helped the company transform, succeed, and endure throughout and despite these obstacles. My experience at AIG, a financial services and insurance enterprise with operations across 80 countries, spans business sectors and international markets. Most recently Head of South Zone Operations and North America Transformation Lead, I also served as AIG Americas Lean Transformation and Global Automation Leader; EMEA Change Director (London); and Vice President, Special Projects. Before joining AIG, I was a Senior Manager at Deloitte Consulting. My focus on customer experience, Lean business process solutions, global regulatory compliance, cost-effectiveness - along with enthusiastic coaching/mentoring/training of multinational, cross-functional professionals and teams - played key roles in my accomplishments. Highlights:► Enlisted by CEO after the financial crisis of 2008 to create a Property & Casualty company that could operate independently and be ready for an IPO, collaborated with global teams and PwC auditors to prepare all documents needed for S-1 that included company-first audited financial statements. ► As head of portfolio of change that spanned Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, built and led a team of 94 to align local resources into a standardized operation, bringing the project in at $19M below budget. ► Saved $100M+ by building and leading a deployment team to institute a Lean continuous improvement model, inspired by McKinsey Way of Working Program, across AIG. ► Built the framework for streamlining and standardizing global finance operations that became the company's standard for 8 years. ► Led extensive organizational restructuring, including dissolving 15 business entities, selling non-core operations, and establishing clear ownership divisions between domestic and international insurance operations while maintaining viable capital and liquidity ratios for 17 entities in Property & Casualty.
