I have been working in the offshore oil and gas industry for 18 years, and for the last 12 years in production. My most recent role was on the Dana Triton FPSO as a Production Tech.I have a creditable and respected track history of performance and delivery within my offshore career with relentless drive for continuous improvement and safe efficient operations. I have a great interest and passion in all aspects of offshore work and thoroughly enjoy the challenging nature of our industry, thriving in demanding activities and devoted to applying my skills to ensure consistent, quality delivery.I have a large amount of experience in the oil & gas industry, both in leadership, Central Control Room and out on the process plant. I have worked on offshore platforms, jack ups, semi subs, FPSO’s and some time working onshore.Previous to working offshore I served in the Royal Marines with 45 Commando for 7 years.Key skills include:• The monitoring, control, optimization and intervention of process plant and equipment using the DCS systems. • The leading and directing of others in work activities including delegation of tasks.• The immediate emergency response to any incident from the CCR or alternatively as part of the fire team.• Detailed understanding and compliance of company codes of practice, statutory health & safety procedures and environmental regulations• Proficient in the use of permit-to-work and maintenance management systems• Skilled in reading and interpretation of cause & effects, P&ID’s, PFD’s and technical manuals• Working knowledge and experience of oil & gas production and processing• Computer literate
