-Identifying Lighting and HVAC Equipment-Identifying issues that would potentially cause a loss in energy efficiency resulting in higher energy bills for commercial users-Directly interacting with customers of all walks of life concerning their energy issues-Taking detailed notes-Working with little to no supervision-Writing detailed reports for engineers to make valid recommendations to the customers regarding their perceived waste and possible energy savings contingent upon the implementation of those improvements -Receiving calls from customers and/or maintenance technicians regarding issues with an energy management system-Installing energy management systems in a commercial environment

-Pulling wire and installing conduit and equipment [residential (75%) and light commercial (25%)]-Troubleshooting and correcting problems that may arise during the building process -Upgrading electrical services in older homes -Training new employees -Working independently
