I am responsible for building and overseeing the processes, partnerships, and people that will allow Yourspace to rapidly scale its Modular Personal Office Outbuilding business.

I helped Argo's clients successfully implement and sustain lean, six sigma, and other integrative transformations. During implementation, I helped leaders and managers adapt to the new imperatives and constraints, and deal with any "soft-skills" issues that arise. For sustainment, I used a range of tools, many of which I co-authored, ranging from behavioral management systems to coaching programs. I was typically in a developmental (rather than appraisal) role -- I was there to make Argo's clients progressively more capable.I worked alongside Argo's industrial engineering and operations experts, partnering with local HR whenever possible (I helped the latter become strategic partners to senior management). I custom-designed and conducted training and coaching programs and drew on my background in executive coaching to deal with decision-makers at every level. During my time at Argo, I published about a dozen thought leadership pieces for trade publications. Industries included Oil & Gas, railroad, plastics, water filtration, flavorings/perfumes, supply chain.

Ignition helps highly credentialed professionals and street-smart entrepreneurs "start" -- i.e. actually begin the startup they've been mulling. My practice draws on experiences gained through consultant contracts at Wall Street financial institutions, whether focusing on business process optimization and core competencies, to more strategic, high-level input.Highlights included working with a bootstrapped food company, helping them reach the milestone of their first sale (to Whole Foods), to helping another startup client with board selection and first round capitalization (multi-million dollar round).
