Stephen Franklin is a primary school teacher. Raised in the leafy Eastern suburbs, Stephen attended Vermont Secondary College (class of 2016).In 2014, Stephen was awarded the Young Endeavour Award when working for Hungry Jack's for his leadership and accomplishments during his employment for the fast-food chain.In 2017, Stephen studied Finance at Swinburne University and graduated with a Bachelor of Business (Finance) in 2019, minoring in Accounting and Data Analytics. Alongside his studies, Stephen worked at Bunnings for 5 years, advising thousands of customers on timber and hardware. Following his undergraduate degree, Stephen enrolled at Monash University to study Master of Teaching in Primary and Secondary Education. He completed his placements at primary and secondary schools' in-between COVID lockdowns at Hallam Senior College, Poowong Consolidated School, Doncaster Secondary College and Roberts McCubbin Primary School.After completing his studies in 2021, Stephen desired to teach in regional Victoria, and taught grade 2 at Mansfield Primary School, along with Casual Teaching at various public and private schools in the Melbourne area. Stephen currently lives in Balwyn with his partner and teaches at Ashburton Primary School full-time.At home Stephen is passionate about working on old cars and motorcycles. He also enjoys his sports on the weekend and is an avid Richmond Tigers supporter.
