Manager of Regional Engineering teams; Teleport, Remote, IP, Platform and Project Engineering

Managing and supporting the regional VSAT platforms and customers.

Main Roles and Responsibilities:• Managing the technical lifecycle of a project from sales handover to commissioned service for all verticals.• Managing the coordination and project input from all operational groups.• Engineering design, configuration, testing and implementation of end-to-end solutions.• Support and growth of existing and new business.• Client support and consultancy.• Ensuring adherence to delivery schedules and technical specification, and that the specification is ‘fit for purpose’.• Pre-Sales Engineering support / Technical design.• Hands-on Configuration of the Speedcast portfolio of products (SME).• Commissioning support of VSAT / WAN connectivity.• Creating and managing Technical Support information.• Level-3 escalation support.• Configuration of monitoring Tools for client services.• Creation and support of Speedcast operational infrastructure, processes and best practice.• Support for operational groups (Tools, Support, Voice, Growth Engineering, Capacity, Teleport, Platform, Terrestrial).• Terrestrial network design, configuration and support.• Design and successfully deliver bespoke end-to-end client services.

Engineers are primarily responsible with providing HCC Clients with a single point of contact to sustain and efficiently resolve customers connectivity issues. This will include:• Troubleshoot Clients VSAT/Networks and follow through to conclusion/escalation as per Incident Management.• Utilise HCC Incident Management Tool to log and update reported faults from clients.• Liaise with Clients on a regular basis to investigate faults and ensure faults are rectified or escalated accordingly• Liaise with Operations & Field engineers• Utilise various NMS tools• Assistance with the ongoing maintenance and upgrade of HCC Infrastructure

Main Duties and Responsibilities:•Troubleshoot Clients VSAT/Networks and follow through to conclusion/escalation as per Incident Management.• Primarily responsible with providing clients with a single point of contact to sustain and efficiently resolve customers connectivity issues.• Utilize SLB GCS Incident Management Tool (Footprints) to log and update reported faults from clients.• Use of technical background to fix problems over the phone or via remote access.• Liaise with Clients on a regular basis to investigate faults and ensure faults are rectified or escalated accordingly. • Liaise with Operations & Field engineers. • Utilise various NMS tools.
