As a college graduate with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, I am eager to present my knowledge and skills to an organization where I know I can provide excellent productivity and resourcefulness. My inherent interest in engineering is why I am perusing employment in the engineering field. During my time at college studying mechanical engineering, some of the courses that I participated in consist of: calculus, statics, dynamics, physics, chemistry, biology, electrical circuits, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, mechanics of materials, MFG process, kinematics, heat & mass transfer, thermal system design, and machine element design. For 3D modeling, I developed fluency with the CAD program Solid Edge. I also obtained expertise in dynamic analysis, establishing hand calculations to theorize using Mathcad/MATLAB followed by testing through lab equipment to experiment and verify. With Nastran/Patran, I can provide computer generated finite element analysis to visually demonstrate stress under considerable load. Establishing documentation of reports, presentations, milestone reviews, data analysis, etc. prompted me to master the basic Microsoft Office tools. With additional analytical expertise from the aerospace courses I have taken (such as aeronautic/astronautic principles, compressible aerodynamics, and air-breathing propulsion), I am also an ideal candidate within the aerospace field attributing mechanical design. My senior design study attributes that as well; classmates and myself researched, designed, developed, and tested a CubeSAT model that records data during reentry into the atmosphere.
