I have inspected and researched various building components related to the structure's roof, foundation, wall, or diaphragm systems in the residential and commercial sector. My experience includes the visual evaluation and assessment of structural or cosmetic damage to residential/commercial structures as a result of vibrational forces, vehicular/tree impacts, storm related forces (wind, hail, rain, flood, lightning, ect.), settlement or subsidence of near surface soils in accordance with Florida Statue (structural damage by definition), catastrophic ground collapse evaluation by definition, thermal/moisture related expansion/contraction to building materials, moisture intrusions/building envelope evaluation, design deficiencies, fire damage, and catastrophic events (i.e. flood, tornado, and hurricane). I am licensed in Florida, Alabama, and Louisiana but also have my NCEES Record if any situation arises where I would need additional state licenses. I have been retained as an expert witness in litigation. Not only have I sat for multiple depositions, but I have also given testimony as an expert witness in trial. I am certified and have experience in offering 1-hour courses for continuing education credits.
