Recent doctoral graduate from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the department of Animal Sciences with a research focus in integrating immunology and behavior. Through this experience in graduate research I was able to develop effective laboratory skills including the use of standardized scientific procedures, current scientific methodology, and data analysis in addition to effective presentation and communication skills. My experience also includes preparation of independent studies spanning multiple disciplines as well as leading groups focused on pre-clinical research. With this multi-disciplined approach I was able to publish five scientific manuscripts and one patent.
