Swarms.ie is a network of almost 1000 beekeepers across Ireland who rescue and relocate honeybee swarms. We also specialise in extracting honeybee colonies that have taken residence in buildings. Swarms.ie is the largest type of network of its kind in the world.To date, Swarms.ie has saved somewhere in the region of 100-200 million bees, or about 1 million euros worth of bees per year. This translates to somewhere in the region of 2-3k colonies per season.Swarms.ie also advises and triages issues with other pollinators such as wasps, bumblebees and solitary bees once discovered in resident or business settings.Swarms.ie won the Biodiversity Iniatitive of the Year award at the All Ireland Sustainability Awards in October 2024

Tasks\SkillsInstructor led Induction training to new starters.Ongoing development of company wide training material (both classroom based and online).Responsible for document control and sign off of training per new employee.

Training Coordinator, contracted to a bluechip tech company, leveraged to the EMEA arm of the largest pharma producer in the world.Responsible for new hire training, ad hoc and new products and features rolled out by the client, 100+ multilingual team members maintained covering technical support for the client. Small amount of quality assurance work involved, such as call script development. During my time I formalized ticket templates in conjunction with the client and the contracted tech company.Managed multiple rollouts of new products, as well as transitioned business in of new departments of the client, including planning, training, account\tool management, pre-live test calls etc.Also responsible for all IT equipment, hardware issue troubleshooting, inventory control & mass PC imaging for roughly 250 machines, screens and accessories. Effectively acted as local desktop support to 100+ technical support analysts.
