The Gran Fondo Giro d'Italia Northern Ireland was a legacy event from the Giro d'Italia race which visited Northern Ireland in 2014. My role to to develop a route and then develop strategies to deliver a global mass participation event in Northern Ireland. With over 200km of roads and nearly 6,000 participants my role was to make a safe and secure route.
