This could include installing, services, or upgrading routers, servers, laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, or any other network-attached device. This included working long hours some days, and working overnight many days, in order to ensure we did not interrupt the customer's business while we were working. This was a customer-facing position with little to no supervision.

Upgrading all machines from a Novell Netware Server (Circa 1994) and Windows XP to a Windows Server 2012 Server, and the installing Windows 7 on all machines via WDS, and then configured an Active Directory and Group Policy to prevent future issues due to user error, and trained the Haywood IT director on the use of the Windows Server and Active Directory system.Also responsible for removal of viruses, malware, and spyware, and troubleshooting issues due to user-error prior to upgrade, as well as hardware assembly, installation, and configuration of new machines.
