Achievements• Assisted in on-boarding new multi-fund client through setting up unit pricing module to the client’s requirements. The client was highly satisfied with the on-boarding, and later brought further funds across to RBC.• Received inter-company award for outstanding performance in unit pricing.• Whilst on secondment to Distribution Co-ordination team received Award for Excellence in input to distribution period. This included assisting with the development of an electronic data tracking system to control and maintain the flow of tasks during the distribution cycle. Having experience at each end of the cycle (security pricing to unit pricing), I was able to help set-up the timetable and also co-ordinate the flows between each department as well as external stakeholders. The result of the tracking of each process was distributions being delivered to clients much more efficiently and with a lot less disruption to departments as they returned to business as usual (BAU).

Achievements• Responsible for start-up of Security Set-up and Pricing team – wrote security set-up procedures and security pricing procedures, plus decided on best manner to source data.• Nominated for Award for Excellence in 1st quarter 2002 for developing a stronger communication pathway between Security Pricing team and other departments which utilised the services of the team. This included creating a Security Set-up Template which allowed other departments to provide sufficient security information for the successful creation of the different asset types being purchased. This helped reduce the risk of errors in security creation. Also put in place a set of deadlines for pricing queries and set-up requests which was distributed to all relevant departments. This reduced the workload on the Security Pricing team during high capacity periods.
