Stephen Godfrey is a born (1983) and raised Sydney photographer. He grew up with weekly trips to his grandparents where is was surrounded by the photographs of National Geographic and Time which is where his interest in photography first started.Previously, Stephen worked in higher education as a Lecturer and Tutor of Mathematics while he was working on a research project. While working in 2008 he started using his spare time to explore different styles of photography and come to find his love of street photography and it’s spontaneous nature.It was after his father passed away in 2010 that he felt the need to start making something of his photography and fell into the creative world of Theatre and Film. Ever since then he has taken production stills and poster shots for various plays, musicals, and short films.
