Steve is a retired senior executive from General Motors after a 35+ year career in Manufacturing, Quality, Operations Management and Supplier Quality - mostly in an vehicle assembly environment. He spent the last 10 years of his tenure as the Plant Quality Director at the corporate flagship Corvette assembly plant in Bowling Green, KY. In his position, he was responsible for 500+ hourly and salary personnel. Steve ensured maximum quality, the optimization of labor resources and budgetary funds that met and exceeded customer needs. He was also in charge of quality auditing, labor relationships, meeting corporate warranty targets, supplier quality expectations and was the scrap reduction champion. Steve is a strategic planner with meticulous attention to detail with a sense of urgency to get the job done on-time to meet production goals in fast paced environments. Prior to his tenure at the GM Corvette Plant, Steve held various leadership positions in Production, Operations and Quality at several GM vehicle assembly locations across the United States. Steve has extensive experience in leading teams and organizations for continuous improvement in Safety, Lean Manufacturing / Transformation, Six Sigma and Red-X Theory, Process Development and Implementation, Business Continuity Planning, Capacity, Constraints, Throughput, Quality and Cost. He is extremely process focused possessing excellent people skills with strong experience working in a union represented environment.Mr. Grilli is a change agent and a cross-functional leader with integrity and discipline.
