Supporting the Chief Information Office as a Finance Manager and includes Management Accounting as well as Business Partnering to the CIO teams for their third party contracts. Role includes: -- All aspects of month-end management including transaction reconciliation, management of prepayments, calculation of accruals, monthly results analysis, investigation of anomalies, producing commentaries and holding monthly meetings with cost owners - Production and communication of a budget plan to collect requirements and cost driver information- Working with stakeholders at all levels and in many areas of the bank, inside and outside of Finance, and acting as a SME for Finance matters- Management of monthly forecasts - Collation and production of a year-end timetable for the team incorporating inputs from multiple teams in order to meet the company year-end deadlines - Experience in managing multiple and conflicting deadlines, discussing and agreeing these with management when required- Understanding the low level of detail as well as looking at trends when looking at the high level, and then communicating this to stakeholders- Evaluation and challenge of savings- Continually looking at smarter ways of working

Lead Finance Partner for Central Functions. Supporting the business, in completing/reviewing volume/driver analysis of cost forecasts as part of the annual budgeting and monthly reporting cycles. This includes the investigation of anomalies and leading in the identification of cost reduction opportunities Skilled in the use of MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Essbase as well as experience of COGNOS, SAP and Walker. Role also includes liaison with Barclaycard senior management and team management
