Researching, developing and applying methods from mathematics, statistics and data science to problems in low voltage and the smart grid. This includes, customer segmentation in terms of their energy behavioural usage, probabilistic forecasts of demand and optimisation techniques for network simulations. Currently I'm researching methods for utilising probabilistic forecasts in the smart control of network storage devices. From 2013-2017 I was the academic project manager and lead researcher on the low carbon network fund project the "Thames Valley Vision" (http://www.thamesvalleyvision.co.uk/).

Project manager (for academic team) and lead researcher on the low carbon network fund project the "New Thames Valley Vision". The aim of the project was to use smart analytics to help distribution network operators better understand their customers, anticipate future demands and facilitate the introduction of smart technologies, in particular smart storage devices.
