Merchant e-Solutions is a U.S. based payment processing company where my role is to research, analyze and mitigate risk of each merchant to minimize loss via chargebacks and fraud losses to company. This is accomplished through testing financial viability, confirming legitimacy and the current industry trends of each merchant. • Merchants vary in size from charities with one annual event for a few thousand dollars to an entity operating globally registering sales in excess of a billion dollars annually. Larger companies include several publicly traded entities currently on Nasdaq and the New York Stock Exchange. • Prepare credit recommendations for approval and, in some cases, concurrence with Sponsor bank on requests that exceed $5 million in exposure to company. This includes annual reviews of existing merchants. • Continuous education of changes to Federal regulations and industry standards throughout the various industries and products that are prohibited (e.g. CBD’s, travel, health care and certain firearms).

• Perform credit analysis, research market/industry trends and prepare a written credit presentation to recommend the decision to the Credit Administrator. • Types of requests include: Owner/Non-Owner Occupied Real Estate purchase, refinance and construction as well as C&I operating lines, credit cards and equipment transactions.• Partner with all of support staff to help define, improve and document all processes to better assist our members with quick and efficient decisions.• Additional tasks include annual review of all outstanding loans within the portfolio in excess of $250M to measure continued performance of all repayment sources and document any covenant violations. All reviews and modifications to the existing risk rating are presented to the Commercial Administrator for approval. Highlights:• Report builder for the Commercial lending department from 2016 - 2017.o Created a report to track and maintain the status’ on all annual reviews to improve monitoring of the existing portfolio. This had been lacking since I was introduced to the team in 2014 and had been an annual audit exception.• Completed CUNA's Business Lending Certification Institute in 2015 and obtained my Credit Union Business Lending Professional (CUBLP) designation. This was a three-year program program that I completed in two years. Education included understanding traditional and UCA cash flow, NOI property analysis, industry analysis, risk mitigation, loan structuring and presentation,.• Key member on development team to utilize a consumer loan origination system to deliver small business credit products to our branch network that launched in May 2017. To date this project has resulted in an aggregate of $500M of new credit cards and auto loans that would have previously been turned away or lost due to timeliness of a decision using previous referral methods.
