I rose through the ranks at the BBC, starting in administration, progressing to Production Manager in the Childrens Drama unit, and ending as a contract Producer in Manchester, working on Saturday morning magazine shows.Along the way, I was responsible for the BBC's first top ten single, a version of the 'Just Say No' anti-drug theme song. More importantly, it raised $250K for drug treatment programs and research showed it was highly effective in equipping younger teens with drug rejection strategies.
