Since 2006 I have been responsible for and have extensive experience of large scale rolling Investment Programmes. I have been directly responsible for the delivery and management in excess of £200 million spend relating to the rolling Capital Investment Programme, Cyclical Maintenance and New Build across GHA. All aspects of contract and programme managment in terms of supply chain management, dispute resolution, minimising risk, risk managment, innovation and collaboritive working. I have extensive experience of implementing asset strategies to develop and regenerate communities and I work with contractors in order to drive continuous improvement and value for money. Prior to developing 3-5 year programmes of Investment I consider relevant asset management strategies and stock evaluation. Housing futures stock appraisals are carried out which takes into account the performance of the stock, the demand of the stock and related maintenance costs. Consultation is carried out at a local level with front line teams, Housing Managers along with the Area Committees in line with Local Area Plans which are developed by me in conjunction with the relevant stake holders. The Local Area plans allow me to monitor and develop assets to ensure communities develop and remain sustainable, taking into account short, medium and long term demand. I carried out options appraisals for poorly performing stock and implement ongoing stock performance reviews. I present, debate and influence decisions which are made locally and to Executive Officers which formulates coherent and valuable housing strategies.
