The role involved, establishing a team, leading & setting Net Zero Targets, orchestrating strategic initiatives for the Consumer & Business Bank, facilitating our clients' shift towards Net-Zero. Set a Net Zero Target for Agriculture in November 2023 which was the first by an Australian bank & one of only 7 Banks Globally.This experience sharpened my strategic acumen, enabling us to support financial services in embracing environmental sustainability while managing the inherent financial risks. The Leadership role prior was General Manager Agribusiness for the Westpac Group for 8.5 years. This period included a 1 in 100 year drought & flood, Senate Enquiry into Rural Banking & the Banking Royal Commission.Doubled the revenue & grew the Business Lending Balance Sheet 2.5x to $13B, increasing market share by 4% over the period.It's a mission I carry forward today as I seek to share my experience & network; to secure a resilient and prosperous future for Australia's Regional, Rural & Remote communities.
