The Eagles Golf Camp was a seasonal golf coaching camp (held every Summer, Halloween, Christmas and Easter) for children between 5-13. For my first 12 - 18 months I worked solely as a coach which entailed creating and performing coaching sessions for groups of up to 20 children at a time. As I progressed I was given more responsibility and took on a more administrative role to organise and manage the camp. This role required me to hire and instruct camp staff, contact parents of potential attendees, take bookings, organise camp schedules, resources and activities while still retaining my own coaching role. Over the summer months we would usually have two camps a day with up to 40 children in each camp so attention to detail and organisation was essential. Due to the young age of the attendees I had a vital responsibility in ensuring their safety whilst still creating an environment in which the children can have fun, interact and learn the skills and etiquette of golf.
