Stephen Harris is a Director at Emery Planning Partnership and has been with the company for over 16 years. He has an expert understanding of all planning matters having gained considerable experience working on a wide range of public and private sector projects across the UK, and in particular in the north west, south west and east midlands.Stephen’s role requires excellent communication, project management, numeracy and analytical skills. This equips him admirably for the day-to-day and strategic business management role which accompanies his client-facing work and for taking the business forward in the same professional, credible and ethical manner upon which it has been founded. His skillset includes the preparation of pre-application advice and reports incorporating development briefs, the assessment of development sites and their potential, preparation of planning application submissions, liaising and negotiating with planning authorities, and appeal work. He has also appeared as an expert planning witness at numerous Section 78 appeals and Examinations in Public for major residential and mixed-use developments.
